71st National Film Awards

 



71st National Film Awards Shah Rukh-Vikrant won the National Award for the first time, Queen was crowned the best actress. President Draupadi Murmu presented the National Awards to the winners at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.


​News: On September 25, at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, the universe seemed to bring Shah Rukh Khan's famous dialogue, "If you desire something with all your heart..." to life. For the first time in his three-decade career, the 'King' was crowned with a National Award. On Tuesday, at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu presented the Best Actor award to the King Khan.


​Dressed in a full-length black bandhgala sherwani and sunglasses, the star flew to Delhi, pausing his work in Poland to accept the award. Upon his arrival at the event, he greeted his friend Rani Mukerji with folded hands and blew a flying kiss to the host who addressed him as the "King of Arts." Overall, Shah Rukh Khan seemed to be in high spirits at the 71st National Awards ceremony.


​The list of this year's National Award winners was announced on August 1. On Tuesday, the President presented the trophies to the winners at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. Vikrant Massey jointly won the Best Actor award for '12th Fail.' Rani Mukerji also received a National Award for her film 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway.' This award for the 'Rahul-Tina' duo of Bollywood brought on a wave of nostalgia. Additionally, Southern megastar Mohanlal was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the same event. The award for Best Hindi Film went to 'Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery,' and Team 'Sam Bahadur' won three National Awards.


​In his 33-year-long career, Shah Rukh Khan has delivered countless superhit films. Sometimes he played the romantic 'Rahul' and said, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' while at other times he shook up movie theaters with his action-packed performances. However, like many other actors, there was a time in his career when his films repeatedly failed at the box office. After 'Zero,' he took a four-year hiatus and made a comeback like a true king. He delivered back-to-back blockbusters with 'Pathaan,' 'Jawan,' and 'Dunki.' The National Award for 'Jawan' seems to have completed his career.
